The Regional Law of Puglia No. 30 of August 6, 2021 concerning “Promotion and valorization of historical and traditional businesses of Puglia” supports commercial activities and artisanal businesses which have historical, artistical, architectonic and enviromental value and constitute the witness of history, art, culture and tradition of Regione Puglia by asking for the recognition of “Bottega Artigiana Storica” qualification and to be registered in the Register of Historical and Traditional Companies of Regione Puglia.
The artisanal business, of which the candidate is the owner or has been a working partner, must be regularly registered or have been registered for activities related to artistic, traditional, or clothing craftsmanship (as specified in Regional Regulation No. 3 of February 4, 2015).
Furthermore, “Bottega Artigiana Storica” qualification allows crafts to access to fundings which support the generational change and the conservation and renovation of real estate.
Minimum standards include
- Artisanal company must be carried out by 30 years seamlessly or can be interrupted 12 months at most;
- Artisanal company must be carried out in the same site of the business or in different sites on the same district;
- Artisanal company is linked to the production, selling and trading of goods and services.
