Article 5 of Regional Law of Puglia No. 26 of June 19, 2018 offers to 15-year-experience crafts at least the possibility of asking for the recognition of “Maestro Artigiano” qualification.
Minimum standards of “Maestro Artigiano” qualification includes crafts being owners or partners of craft workshop, regulary registered to Regione Puglia Local Register of Crafts, as long as they personally have took part or take part to the artisanal businesses companies.
Furthermore, “Maestro Artigiano” qualification allows crafts to activate “Bottega Scuola” in their companies, allocating fundings recruiting apprentices in artistic and traditional processing and tailored clothing.
